WHAT IS S.A.F.E. ANIMAL HAVEN RESCUE?
S.A.F.E. (Spay/Neuter, Adoption, Foster and Education) Animal Haven is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue group located in Matthews, North Carolina. Our purpose is to serve as a community resource for information about companion animals and their care, the importance of spay/neuter to reduce the shelter population and to provide rescue for homeless dogs and place them in foster homes where they will be provided the love and care they need to become happy, healthy, adoptable pets.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Safe Animal Haven Rescue is looking for volunteers to help make our upcoming fundraising yard sale a success! Proceeds from the sale will directly support the animals in our care.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks, including:

Picking up donated items
-
Helping spread the word about our donation drive

Sorting and pricing items before the sale
-
Working the yard sale on the day of the event
The sale will be held in Shelby, where we have ample storage space, a large driveway for setup, and a covered patio for shade and comfort.
On the day of the sale, volunteers may choose from two shifts:

7:00 AM – 10:30 AM
-
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
-
Or volunteer for the entire day if you're available.
Whether you can help for a few hours or throughout the event, we'd love to have you on our team.

We would love to pull more dogs to help the overloaded shelter make space and save lives. We have had to stop pulling due to lack of foster homes.
